Planes Review

Planes Review

I am reviewing Pixar's spin off to cars starring Val Kilmer,Dane Cook,Stacy Kech,Danny Mann,Brad Garret,Teri Hatcher,Priyanka Chopra,Cedric the Entertainer,Julia Louise-Dreyfus,Roger Craig Smith and John Ratzenberg,Story by John Lassaster,Klay Hall and Jeremy M.Howard,Screenplay  by Jeremy M. Howard,Directed by Klay Hall

I have to be honest I didn't like this film. And there is one thing that annoys me most:Greddy Disney. This will keep your child's attention for the whole movie but it will bore any adult, tween or teen that has to sit through it. The story is clichéd and predictable, the gags unfunny and awkward while the unknown voice cast don't help either. This is a cheap knock off for 5 year olds. Originally planned for straight to DVD everything feels forced and it also has a feeling that the whole department just put in no effort. At all. Yet some things are good. The variety of planes and their personalties are one of the only interesting parts of the film and a special appearance by John Cleese as a British fighter plane is one of the more interesting unique characters. The cameo by John Ratzenberg was funny and pleasing and satisfying. The Clichéd love story and rivalry aren't helpful just showing that Disney want to sell toys and steal our money for a rubbish rip off

Planes deserves 1 star because it is forced, juvenile, boring, disappointing, unfunny and the biggest let down that Disney has given us. This is only recommended to 1-8 years olds.
