Man of Steel trailer review

Man of Steel trailer review

Now I am reviewing the upcoming trailer of Man of Steel,Starring Henry Cavill, Russell Crowe,Michael Shannon,Diane Lane,Kevin Costner,Amy Adams,Laurence Fishburne,Christopher Meloni,Antje Traue and Ayelet Zurer,Screenplay by David S Goyer,Story by Christopher Nolan and David S Goyer,Score comp-osed and conducted by Hans Zimmer,Based on Superman by Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster

From the look of this trailer Nolan and Goyer can work in genre he thinks of. The sheer destruction of a planet. Mostly when a planet falls we do not feel or even connect with the characters[unless it's Star Trek 2009]but the music in the background, the explosions,Russell Crowe's great array of emotions...My ques-tions about this film have been answered. As we see Clark or Superman saves a bunch of school people in a drowning bus. How would you feel if you ever did such a thing and had to hide it?Goyer seems to show the difficulties of being a alien in a human world as we see his adopted father show him the spacecraft. He asks "Are you really my father?"or something like that Nolan just has a uncanny sense of realism, alien world or human. We see Clark ask sitting on his father's van sulking,"I couldn't just let them die,"That is what I mean the pure awesomness. He balances drama and action superbly. We contunie seeing Clark scruffy and not knowing who he is save a crane from killing people. He isn't just Superman straight there he struggles.Amy Adams. I know her as a multi-genre person starring in Leap Year,Enchanted,The Fighter and co. This looks like one of her more serious roles,a risk transitioning from genre to genre. She looks brillant but a little bit dull which could be a worry connecting with a dislikeable character. Henry Cavill is still an unknown having small roles and some big ones such as Immortals,Stardust and Tristan and Isdole. From the look of this he will become a super star already famous as being the third non American actor portray a superhero. As we keep on going throughout the trailer we see Zod portrayed by Michael Shannon. Michael Shannon to be honest all I sort of know him from is Kangaroo Jack and Pear Harbour. Zod is up there with Malkeith as best villain.

As we see,Zod might not have the original group he had in Superman 2. As he screams "I will find him!"I feel a sense of terror as he is threatening to Superman. Shannon might more be bringing in a psycho Joker like performance or either Shakespearian villain like Loki and co. `I like that DC aren't rushing their films:Their is a sense of effort in the scenes, the costumes,music,writing...This will beat Marvel out of the sky. Zod is a choice we have seen before and I hoped we would have seen a different villain from the comics but I under-stand why now. Nolan said that he wanted a villain connected to Superman's origin and I believe him:Having a villain connected to the origin of a character could be vital and he is Clark's own race. That leaves him a s-acrafise:Kill his own race or let him live. I hear there is a third villain and a giant squid like thing which might

hint Brainiac. Brainiac is a Kryptonian creation, who in the comics, shrunk Kandor main capital of Krypton and has appeared in different incarnations. I like that we see Nolan not being exactly grounded in his choices a giant squid like thing and the destruction of cities. Hans Zimmer is composing the score for Man of Steel. Hans Zimmer composer and conductor of the trailer music has done his most brilliant work yet. The heroic theme in the background divines all the visuals of the film into a whole amazing spectacle. We see that Zim-mer has a few similar notes to Skyfall by Adele but I believe this would beat any modern pop song such as Gentleman out of the sky. I do feel like Thor:Dark world and Man of Steel will be in competition as they both look equally epic with dark themes but since this is being made by Nolan in solid and Thor has a near Nolan theme,I believe that Nolan will do better with his skill of writing and choices. Goyer is not exactly a trustworthy screenwriter as it looks like things might be too convoluted. And how are you apost to know things will get way too crammed or complicated? That might be Nolan's weakness making this a not very understandable film. Origin story films such as Amazing Spiderman might just repeat the same things. Even if no comic tone it could still be a tedious, boring repeat. I hope it does well as Justice League will happen if this does well in the box office. I did enjoy the trailer but everything could be a complicated, tedious experience.

In full this is a good trailer, worth a watch but it matters if you have high expectations or not. As we see this might be an alien invasion movie with a random superhero or a gratifying, satisfying experience courtesy of Nolan and Goyer.
