Thor:The Dark World trailer review

Thor 2:The Dark World Trailer review

Now the teaser trailer of Thor 2:The Dark World trailer has been released and this is my review of the Thor 2:The Dark World teaser trailer. Thor 2:The Dark World directed by Alan Taylor,Written by Christopher Yost,Stephen Markus and Marcus Mcfeely,Based on the story by Don Payne,Score composed and conducted by Carter Burnwell,Starring Chris Hemsworth, Anthony Hopkins,Natalie Portman,Kat Dennings,Rene Russo,Jamie Alexander,Zachary Levi,Ray Stevenson,Tom Hiddleston Idris Elba,Stellan Skasgard and Christopher Eccelston.
Firstly I find this trailer engaging. It has a good, refreshing,Nolan take on the whole plot. The hype for this film has been a bomb and I didn't know what to expect from teaser. Well what I got was a departure from Science Fiction/comedy style redemption story and what looks like something par to Peter Jackson's brilliant Lord of the Rings trilogy. As we see something is attacking London or somewhere and we see it is a massive scale. Glass smashing, buildings falling an awesome start showing that this is going to outdo the first one by a massive mile. As we see Thor returns some-how. In the Avengers we hear Loki say "How much dark energy did father conjure to bring you here?". Maybe this is a possible explanation to the whole Thor on Earth. If you have not seen any of these films I would recommend you see Thor and Avengers on DVD or rent. We see the awakening of Malkeith portrayed by Christopher Eccelston

Malkeith looks in this teaser trailer sublimely threatening. He is no insane scientist like Curtis Connors or accident like Abomination but is a war loving elf. I see that this is a departure from the comics as Malkeith seems to be a more scheming character. He looks like a reasonably strong villain with powerful abilities and co. As we see Thor return to Earth to see Jane we see that Thor kept his promise from his predecessor:He did promise that he would return and bring Jane to Asgard and he just does that. One thing I like about this movie's plot is that normally sequels they go for the superhero on the run type of thing but they go for something a god or hero wouldn't have to face:Sif,a childhood friend of Thor is forced by Odin to marry Thor. Odin somehow doesn't like the whole idea of leaving his human lover but he doesn't want to leave his father in ruins. Then we see the consequences. A gigantic, epic looking battle between the Asgardains and the Dark elves raging across a deserted plane, the fire, the epicness....

As we see Asgard is a majestic place and for Jane it's a treasured opportunity but it all turns sour. From the look of the teaser this has had an extremely good amount of effort put into every scene.Even if some things are recognizable in the teaser like this[for example:The Star trek like doom of the first teaser] but it looks like something par to LOTR in so many ways. As we continue Rene Russo is Fregga as we see Malkeith come into picture. This looks like one of the best villains of the whole year! The acting and the lines...Christopher evokes villainous quality unlike some I have seen over the years:Loki,Curt Connors and co. As we hear the line "What will you sacrifice?"Jane looks in melancholy despair as we see Thor fall for the first time after the Avengers. Then we see Tom Hiddelston in his role of Loki. He looks like a prisoner long flowing chained hair as he smiles. He was the one who started The Avengers and Thor asking him for help is a fatal risk.

I gave this teaser trailer 4 stars because it is a gratifying, satisfying, exciting, thrilling, out of words trailer maybe even forcing the Avengers into hiding...This is epic. I would recommend anyone to try the previous movies that these characters have been in. The style is a great addition to the whole teaser itself,a gift of light from Alan Taylor, former director of TV series on HBO and so.
Thor:The Dark World is out on November 18th 2013
